Polyp/Biopsy

During your colonoscopy procedure, your physician may detect and remove pre-cancerous colon polyps. If this occurs, a biopsy of the polyp will be performed to determine if any further care is necessary. If this occurs, please allow up to two weeks to receive your biopsy results.
